Sedna, lost in the continuum
Sedna
In a vast lonely wasteland I've been entombed,
Wandering through the endless night.
For countless eons I've been consumed.
My dismal countenance eroded
Will I survive this impending doom?
My dreary abandonment is complete.
In a dark, cold prison with boundless room;
Will these alien torments ne'er cease?
Yet, a twinkling appears, afar in the gloom,
A distant flickering spark of hope,
From sidereal depths, gravity looms
Insistantly urging me e'er for'd.
The assaulting Helion tides resume,
While a curious glow infuses me.
Freedom within my grasp soon,
I'm refreshed, my spirit is warmed
With hope, I emerge from my tomb,
Has my nightmarish coma ended?
The blackness recedes; I've shed my cacoon,
I'm immersed in a wondrous light.
I live! My spirit is wildly astir, I'm reborn!
Sedna, the lost one has returned!
